Pilipili Project
Small-holder farmers are the backbone of the economies in most of the African countries. However, their productivity is low because most of them struggle to access high-quality inputs, the necessary skills, and the reliance on rain-fed farming systems. All this is due to the lack of adequate capital needed to invest. Meet James John Makali a 51-year-old man who obtained a Kazi interest-free loan to invest in the drip irrigation system for his African bird's eye chili (Pilipili kichaa) project production.
