The second project supported by Kazi Startfunding Salma Msomi is a Tanzanian tailor from the region of Ifakara who requested and was granted an interest-free loan for 1,500,000 TSH (about 700 CHF) for a 15-month period to buy 2 sewing machines. The goal is to locally produce clothes for the community in order to avoid importing textiles from other parts of the world, and to enable local craftsman and traditional dress to flourish. Finally, it will provide jobs for two additional employees (in addition to Salma), who will learn these skills and generate income. Honguera sana Salma!
